first off, let me just say that i am listening to Burnt By The Sun right now and i want to get up out of this chair and jump around the room. BBTS will do that kind of stuff to you i guess. plus they have great song titles like "Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom"

now, on to more sedentary subjects:
in my never ending search for geekdom, i have come across my new time wasting nerd toy for this week: Microsoft PowerToys. I've been dicking around with TweakUI for the last 15 minutes or so. mostly because my stupid computer decided to go to crap on me and none of the icons worked anymore .... and i mean NONE of them. see how there's a back button at the top of your web browser? yeah, that disappeared, only ALL the icons like that disappeared, including the ones that go next to stuff in folders and things. technology can blow me. except now i am going to customize internet explorer so that when i go to a new webpage the little loading thing up in the top right corner is funnier. yeah. word. learning to use stupid crap like this is totally what turns you into a gigantic dork. i just modified internet explorer so i can just type "google" and the thing i want to find out about into the address bar and it automatically searches google for it. I can also type "dictionary marmoset" to find this page with the definition of the word marmoset. NEEEEEEEERDY
