statistics
ok ... so, just to give a little perspective on the war in Iraq, lets talk body counts for a second. as of today, it's estimated that compared to Americans, Iraqis are dying at a rate of 15-to-1. As of right now 702 Americans have died and the high estimate of iraqi dead is hovering at almost 11,000. if you want to check out casualty statistics for yourself, you can check out the coalition numbers here and the Iraqi numbers here. There are only estimates on the Iraqi body counts though since, in the wise words of General Tommy Franks, "We don't do body counts."

rah rah, hooray America, "We take nothing by conquest, thank God."
