Humanity is the Devil
I just started reading Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies. It starts off pretty dry, but it's still really interesting. Basically what it's spelling out so far is that at the very beginning of modern human history we started spreading across the planet and leaving a long path of extinction in our wake. It's basically explaining how every continent has fossils of large land mammals which dissapear as soon as signs of human co-habitation appear. The only place large land mammals still exist now is Africa where human history is thought to have started and where animals evolved along side humans and developed an instinctual fear of them. crazyness.

of course, all of this is a huge lie because the bible tells us so. duh.

after reading The Ecology of Commerce and now reading this, i'm pretty convinced that the human race will become extinct within the next 500 years or less and in a few thousand years the planet will be run by the anscestors of dolphins.

you wont think that sounds so crazy when we're all dead and dolphins are excavating our future-ancient cities and looking at all the dumb shit we did because of human short-sightedness.

I think i'm going to go build myself an earth house that keeps the heat in during the winter and out during the summer and grow all my food on the roof. that's a wicked smart idea.
