politics is stupid
do you feel like reading a completely ridiculous article? here, read this. It's not ridiculous because of anything the writer said, or because of any of the facts presented ... It's ridiculous because it was ever written.

All this swift boat veterans for truth stuff is SO AMAZINGLY DUMB. All you ever hear is; John Kerry, Vietnam, Swift Boat ... blah blah blah. "Where was John Kerry on Christmas Eve 1968!?!" It's not even controversial where he was, really. He was somewhere between Vietnam and Cambodia trying not to get killed. HE WAS IN A FREAKING WAR ZONE ON CHRISTMAS EVE!!! Can we just drop it now? Jesus. It's really not that important beyond that. He volunteered to go. He went. The military gave him some awards for going there. It's the same story with TONS of other GI's.

... Ok, so where was George Bush on Christmas Eve, 1968? Who knows? My guess is that he was somewhere drunk in Texas. That's where a lot of people were. Partying, having fun, being happy ... Not hanging out on a shitty little dingy being shot at.

So if you're enough of a dumb fuck to make the entire basis of who you're going to vote for in the presidential race on where the candidate was on December 24th 1968, you get to pick between "the rich guy who volunteered to go to war" or "the rich guy who was getting drunk and probably coked out of his mind." Take your pick.

This is so stupid. We are a country of six year olds.
