One week in one post
So I went to Hawaii. It was excruciatingly hot. And humid. Humid as hell.

There is a reason you never see fat surfers. Surfing is HARD. You have to paddle A LOT. Paddling is NOT EASY. Well ... it probably is, just not when your life consists mostly of sitting at a desk eating Doritos and typing. Yeah. Teaching surfing lessons to stupid tourists is a WAAAAAAAAAY better job than sitting at a desk. I don't care who you are.

Sun block is the bomb diggity. I got sunburned on this here trip, but not very bad. I attribute this to my good friend SPF 45. Hooray. I got a sort-of tan, but you can't really expect much when you start off 2 shades from snow. If you ever do get a sunburn, I highly recommend Aloe Lotion. Bananna Boat makes it. It works like a champ. I totally burned the backs of my legs while I was surfing, but I put that lotion stuff on them and the burn went right away.

The Incredibles is a great movie. You should totally go see it. Mass entertaining.

I rented Big Trouble in Little China. I don't know if that movie was intentionally supposed to be funny, but it is. I haven't seen it in forever, but it's still just as great as ever. I'm totally going to put Big Trouble in Little China samples on whatever Abraham Lincoln Killing Machine record ever comes out. Prepare.

My band was supposed to play a show last night, but it didn't happen. Oh well. Tacoma loses out. Come see us on Friday at the Plague House. The flyer is on this page. Scroll down.

I caught a cold on the plane. I hate planes. They're just germ tubes with wings.

I bought all varieties of crap while I was in Hawaii. The international market is one of the greatest places ever conceived on earth. "You buy! 45 dolla!" "I'm just looking." "No! You buy! ... 20 Dolla!"

Ummmm .... yeah.

I'm boycotting the internet.

The backs of my pants are soaked because I had to walk a whole lot of far in the rain earlier. I hate the rain. There was one point when I was in Hawaii where I was definitely sweatier than I've ever been in my entire life. It was weird. I don't know how this is relevant to anything.
