United Van Lines can suck the shit out of my ass!!!!
My relocation process has been a nightmare. Here's a round up of what would be the most comical part of it, if it weren't so damned infuriating:

Armstrong relocation told me, when I set up my move over a month ago, that the latest my things would be delivered was March 9th, but that the driver could give me a better idea of when he would be arriving when he got to my house. The driver picked up my stuff on Feb 22nd and told me he'd arrive in New York on Feb 28 or March 1. That's one week. Great.

The driver has 2 loads on his truck; mine and one going to New Hampshire. Basically, because there was a snowstorm in New Hampshire, the driver delayed my shipment until the last possible moment in my delivery spread and then he WENT HOME TO GEORGIA!!!!!!!!! WITH ALL OF MY WORLDLY POSSESSIONS! THEY ARE SITTING IN A TRAILER IN HIS FRONT YARD RIGHT NOW!!!! When I asked someone at Armstrong why he was in Georgia, she told me it was because my stuff was packed in behind the stuff he had to deliver to NH and that he couldnt very well come here and deliver my stuff first, then go to NH when the weather cleared up. I left a message on the drivers cell phone on Wednesday. He never called me back. The woman I've been in contact with at Armstrong regarding my move seems to be completely unreachable. Whenever I do get ahold of someone at Armstrong, help is the last thing they seem to want to provide. Customer service at it's best.

I'm living on the floor. I have been for a week. I'm tired, I'm cranky, my back hurts and I have been extremely inconvenienced. I was told by the driver that I would only have to put up with this for a week. Now I have to wait around for my stuff to show up at my house for another week because this guy decided to go home instead of delivering my stuff.

I don't care about New Hampshire, I dont care about the weather there, I dont care about this other shipment, I just want this move to be over with and I want all of my belongings back. (apparently these movers lost a bunch of one of my co-workers stuff ... I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it) Unfortunately, since Armstrong covered their ass a month ago and told me "March 9th at the latest" no one seems to care. On the contrary, they get indignant with me every time I so much as suggest that they're in the wrong.

I'm PISSED. My experience with Armstrong and United Van Lines has been horrible. If I was paying for this move myself, I would tell them to take their bill and put it where the sun doesn't shine. unfortunately, my work is paying for it ... So I have the convenience of being screwed for free. I have no recourse here. I cant do anything but take it, sleep on the floor for another week and wait for this asshole to show up at my house whenever he damn well feels like it ... as long as it's before the 9th. I talked to him today and he tried to make it sound like he was doing me a favor by "leaving Georgia on Sunday and having my stuff here by Tuesday." WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN GEORGIA IN THE FIRST PLACE!?!?!?!?!

I'm getting screwed. Remind me never to move again.
