On the topic of the weather
It seems like someone flipped a switch about six days ago that made it spring suddenly. It snowed like mad about two weeks ago--yesterday I went outside and there were 100 people in every direction wearing shorts. Weird. The trees are sprouting out in front of our house too. I haven't lived in a place that actually had seasons since ... well ... forever. This is so weird. It's a little after 9am right now and it's already about 60 degrees outside. I'm not looking forward to August. Apparently the height of summer here is pretty close to unbearable. My pessimistic prediction for this summer is that there will be a heatwave in some major city somewhere and hundreds of people will die. It happened in Paris last year ... what will global warming have in store for us this year? And how long will it take before people stop pretending it isn't real?

There's a guy on the inside of my block using a chainsaw right now. Hello dickface, it's not even 10am yet. Let's save the chainsawing for the afternoon.
