more hits? no ... this is just an asterisk next to the stats for one of the hits that has already come and gone
one funny thing i've already noticed about the search feature is that it finds things on my server that i dont have linked up anymore ... like the
archived pages of tasha's old blog that was matts blog before it was tasha's. whatever ...
also ... kc has UHF at her house if anyone is interested in coming over -- to my house -- and watching it. weird al yankovic used to be smart. that was before he grew his hair all out, shaved his mustache and lost the glasses. now he just looks like a mutant member of
hanson. though, those kids ARE mutants, so i'm basically splitting hairs at this point.
aaron reid once thought the oldest hanson was a chick and he said "she" was "really hot" ... now he sells miracle blades at county fairs all over america.
3 days ago it was sunny and warm, now its raining and cold. washington sucks. its like god looked at his watch and was like "its fall" then he flipped the switch that turns on the suckyness.
in other weather related news.
hurricane isabel is getting ready to blow over half of north carolina. (
check out this picture) ... this reminds me of some thing i saw on the discovery channel years ago about global warming and hurricanes. you see, as the earth gets progressively warmer, as we have all by now realized it is, hurricanes gain the ability to travel ever further north and south because the air and water temperatures are warmer further from the equator. what this means is that within the next few years new york city could very well become a realistic target for a direct hit from a hurricane. the repercussions of something like that happening would be devastating. can you imagine what would happen if 160 mile winds hit a city like new york? it would make 9/11 look like a day at the post office.
here are more photos of Isabel ... astronauts at the international space station have taken some amazing photographs of this thing. if i could find a decent article about global warming and hurricanes i'd link to it, but i cant so blah.
