Super Size Me
I just got back from seeing this movie, and let me tell you something, it's awesome. The guy eats nothing but McDonalds for 30 days and he basically almost dies. check out the trailer ... wicked sick bro.

also
The Corporation is coming out soon. It looks super interesting ... Plus Noam Chomsky is in it, so there's a reason to see it right there. Check out the trailer here.

furthermore
Coffee and Cigarettes is coming out soon too. How can a movie go wrong with Iggy Pop, Tom Waits, Bill Murray, The Rza, The Gza, Steven Wright(!) and ... um ... a million other people in it? it can't go wrong. that's how. so there you go, call up a cute girl and go on a date. Skip the popcorn and coke though because it'll make your dick stop working and your heart explode. for serious.

this brings me to my final thought
... sort of like Jerry Springer.

It seems to me like there is a huge movement (or backlash) against corporations, and consumption in general, these days. Like there is this widespread awakening where people are starting to see that the ultimate result of unchecked and weakly regulated capitalism is a country full of really fat, really dumb people and a very small group of disgustingly rich people who keep them that way. Maybe it's just that I'm more aware of it or something ... I don't know. uh ... yeah. The revolution will not be televised.

i have this record already

Morrissey is the man. I'm bummed that he's headlining Lollapalooza, but perhaps some good will come of it and lots of really dumb kids will accidentally stumble ass backwards into having taste. Girls will make out with you if you listen to Morrissey kids, it's a fact of life ... like how there is just no effective way to microwave bologna.
