Let's talk about all the things you're missing
Ok ... so maybe that headline is a bit misleading. Here's a bunch of proof that Mozilla is the bomb diggity.

First, download Firefox if you're not already using it as your web browser. It's the gold standard these days, alright? Don't argue. Download.

Now, it's time for plugins.

1) Adblock and Adblock Filterset.G
No more pop-ups, no more annoying flash ads over the page, no more ads period.

2) FireFTP
I spent the longest time looking for a decent (free) FTP client for my mac and never found one. Eventually I just stole a copy of Transmit. This FTP client isn't full of crazy features and bells and whistles, but it does the trick. It's basically the best thing ever when all you need to do is drop a couple files on an FTP server and you don't feel like starting up another damn application.

3) The SumbleUpon toolbar
Whoever came up with this thing is a genius. Download the plugin, create an account, pick a few categories and press the Stumble! button. You'll be surfing all over random awesomeness in no time.

4) If you want to get super nerdy, I highly recommend the Firefox developer toolbar.

Although, if you're reading this and that toolbar appeals to you, there's a pretty good chance you already have it and all of the rest of this garbage was interesting to you about 4 years ago.

Whatever.
