last night i went out to eat at REI.
after that i went and saw Lost in Translation. i thought it was good right after i saw it and, now that i've had more time to think about it, i think that movie was actually really great. it was definately a "see it again" kind of movie.

also, there are more than a handful of scenes where the boom mic is OBVIOUSLY visible in the shot. i'm not talking 'if you pay attention' ... i'm talking saturday-night-live-boom-mic-hits-the-actor-in-the-head style obviously visible. perhaps i'm not a seasoned enough veteran of a movie watcher, or maybe i'm just a soul deprived of film school, but if there was "something to" the mic in the shot all the damn time, i didnt get it. bill murray was excellent though. super excellent. i think that was the best movie i've ever seen him in.

so there you go ... go see lost in translation and eat a clif bar.

i saw aram, adie, doug and karen after the movie last night. they were going to see the next show. aram hates gays.

then i saw chris manfretto so i punched him in the arm. he has dave grohls haircut now.

this new belle and sebastion record really rules. if you think otherwise its probably because you hate gays .... and killed jesus.
