yeah, led zeppelin doesn't really ever stop being good.

i've almost got my entire cd collection ripped onto my ipod. well ... that is ... not counting all the crap i have accumulated for one reason or another that i'm leaving off. like that one REM cd i stole from somewhere; that's not getting added. in fact, i think i should probably throw that cd away as soon as i get home. what if someone comes over and see's it? i certainly don't want to be "that guy with the REM cd."

incase you didn't already know: REM sucks. there are no exceptions to this rule. they just suck. every second of every record ever. crap. plus they're all uglier than a bag of crushed assholes, so basically that band has no redeeming qualities what-so-ever. If you currently like REM i would seriously recommend listening to Oasis. Oasis is a far more acceptable super mainstream band than REM. REM will just turn you into a stupid whiny bitch ... and probably one that wears birkenstocks of some kind. ugh.

oh yeah ... and here's why i love Oasis. Those guys started a band in the middle of shitsville, totally admitted and were unapologetic about the fact that they were just ripping off the beatles and then they acted like total assholes to EVERYONE all the time. those are some ballsy dudes. and they're all filthy rich now. one of the best things i ever saw was Liam Gallagher on TRL. he showed up under the influence of at least six different varieties of drugs and just wandered around mumbling incoherently the whole time. watching Carson Daly follow him around with that dumb look on his face and no clue about what to do was the highlight of my week. if i ever get on TRL i'm going to show up piss drunk and bitch slap carson daly. its going to be great.

while i'm talking about mainstream-as-hell music, let me open up the floor to a question that has boggled my mind for quite some time now: How in the hell were Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden such great bands and yet Audioslave was (is?) such a giant, slimy, nut filled turd? all of those guys should have their musical equipment stolen from them and have their names erased from the liner notes of their previous bands. Dear Tom Morello ... Go back to being a lawyer. you've officially lost it.

i need to quit being lazy and get back to work on those liquor lamps and t-shirts.

i'm going to disneyland in like a week and a half. how jealous are you?
