Everytown USA Blows
I just got back from California, land of strip malls, bimbos and suburban sprawl. I was often heard to remark over the last week, "Wow ... California does suck." As a certain kind of counter point to that realization, I just arrived back in New York a few hours ago and immediately got ripped off by a cab driver, then found a ticket on my car because it had been parked there 15 minutes longer than it should have, for street sweeping that, even as I type this, STILL hasn't even happened. "Oh yeah, New York sucks." It basically comes down to this: California is shallow. New York is mean.
