New York 2012 .... We think not.
So New York lost it's snowballs-chance-in-hell Olympic bid this morning. The 2012 Olympics will be held in London.

I went to the Olympics in Norway in 1994. (My uncle lives there) I also went to London that year. I can't believe anyone is surprised New York didn't get picked. Lillehammer was amazing when I was there--Unbelivably friendly and super clean. London was too ... Compared to New York anyway. It is beyond me why anyone is surprised this morning after the Olympic committe didn't pick this humid, urine-soaked garbage-pile full of assholes to host. WELL DUH! You can't even ride the subway here without reading 15 service notices first. And even then you have to KNOW where you're going because there are no maps in half the stations and the wrong train will probably just show up anyway. Sure some of the greatest things in the world come out of New York, but that doesn't change the fact that it smells like a toilet.

... but hey ... At least NY came in 4th out of 5. It's good to know we can still beat those (ex)commie bastards over there in Moscow.
