thank you and goodnight
what a weekend. befriending random mexican guys, drinking copius amounts of alchohol, playing rock and roll, feasting on free food, buying shoes, nate scott, multiple belligerent people, uwajimaya, milk shakes, austin powers, running into greg, totally by chance, while he was moving ... fun.

i have to say that one of the best things i ever did was to start hanging out with john and kristen. those are some solid people. john standing there drinking skyy blue (which isnt nearly as repulsive as one would think) and going "dude, this doesn't taste blue at all." brilliant. that guy is awesome. he says the most hilarious things ever. and he totally trumped everyone in the room as we were all having this conversation about how it's impossible to eat a piece of bread in under a minute -- he did it in 22 freaking seconds. (hint: do not stick the whole slice of bread in your mouth at once ... that just equals death)

i've totally been noticing how life is really odd. 2 months ago i would never ever have imagined that things would end up how they are right now. 2 months ago me and nate hardly hung out at all anymore and he was going off to join the military, but now suddenly he's hanging out all the time -- it's so much like the old days that its scary. saturday we hooked up with all these people and basically hung out until like 5 in the morning, then we all retreated to our little corners of the world, woke up a few hours later and all came right back together again. for some reason its really awesome to hang out with a group of like 7 people one night then the next day just reassemble and do something totally different. its like summer camp in a way. weird. back when nate and i lived in hawaii it was basically the same way ... this giant crew of people who were just constantly down to hang out all the time. maybe its just the fact that it's summer time.

Tonight nate and I sat on my deck, drank cider and laughed at people in the passing busses. it was totally a perfect chill out ending to a really crazy weekend. if only i didnt have a job and i could just aimlessly roam seattle all the time.
