If you whip a man and call him a slave he'll work and always resent you.

If you break a man slowly, all the while telling him this is the best life anyone has ever lived, he'll call his cage a castle, completely unaware that he's a slave.

... if you work fulltime for 30 years and take 2 weeks vacation every year, you'll have spent 2,400,000 hours at work. Can't you think of anything better to do with two and a half million hours of your life?
