Back again once is the incredible ...
3 day weekends should be standard. no, check that, they should be 4 days long and going back to work should be 100% optional.

Bumbershoot
I wouldn't know. I didn't go.

Against Me!
They played a basement show literally 5 blocks from my house. I missed it. I suck nuts.

Demolition derby
I went to a demolition derby on Sunday in Monroe. It was awesome. Everyone should go to demolition derbys. Whoever invented the concept of racing old schoolbusses in a figure 8 is a genius. There's another one on Sept 25th. I think I'm going to be attending that one too. Word. Hooray for demolition derbys.

90/95
The CD exchange that I created the 90/95 comp for went swimmingly. Good times were had by all. Now, as promised, You can download it and listen to it all you want.

Track listing information.

It's not what I would consider a perfect comp from that period of time ... there was a ton of stuff I just couldn't track down (for instance: Kid Sensation rapping with Ken Griffey Jr.), but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. I purposely left some things off so I could fit some other things on. Ice Cube released like 900 records in the 90/95 period, all of them were awesome and had some amazing songs on them. But I didn't want to include 70 Ice Cube songs in an effort to put forth ALL the best stuff that came out during this period of time. If I did that, I'd have a whole record comprised solely of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and 2pac songs.

Perhaps now I'll create a '96-'00 comp of all the crappy hardcore and punk rock I was into during that period of time ... Not.
